Hi, I am interested in to know manhours required for the different task involved in SPI(INtools), for ex: instrument index report, cables schedule report, creating and configuring cabinets, IO card acllocation, IO assignment, creating cables, connecting cables, cross wiring, etc... I am particular interested in man hours for the exporting instrument index, cable schudule reports from SPI? how they calculate, is it by nos. of tags(including soft tags) or by IO? anybody any thoughts? Hi, How to handle for some typicals loop in P&ID, For ex: a loop have a analog indicator and a analog regulatory, and both have a seperate LOOP FUNCTION code, in SPI we can only put one loop function per loop name and which is normal/convetional. how to handle such situation? anybody any thoughts? Is there any other way to unlock an entity ? We have been experiencing this quite often now. I tried through the admin module to have all the 3 option available to unlock the session but to no avail. The entity is still locked. Anyone... please Our company is currently using INtools version 6 (06.06.00.06).

Hi, I'm using INtools version 6. when I open process/calculation module. UOM for temperature is shown ?C(example). but not correct. It shall be °C. I tried to change symbol on Unit of Measure Code But it is still ?C or appeared in process module in different symbol that i typed in on Unit of Measure Code. So i have tested on an another computer. the symbol shown on process/calculation module and Unit of Measure Code is not same. If someone know that what is real problem/how to fix it please help. Change Tracking affecting database response time

Colleague's experience with INTools (approx 10,000 tags) on a major project 3 years ago indicated that the database would become sluggish and unworkable with the total number of tags, and with change tracking engaged. Colleague had to have contractor remove packaged unit tagging, and turn change tracking off to make database useable. Questions: Do current versions of SPI exhibit this problem?
