Hi version: SPI 2007 (08.05.00.12) SP5 when I tried generate inst index report - it gives me blank and nothing comes over. is it bug!! anybody any experience! Regards, JB

Hello all Iam new to INTOOLS and trying to understand the basics. I have fairly a good concept of what INTOOL is and what are the capabilities and different modules available and what they do.My question is WHAT IS DEVICE TABLE? DEVICE CABLE?Against these two items it is always mentioned format based on component naming convention and based on Tag name. Can anyone be kind enough to explain what exactly this means,what is the actual use of this item and what purpose does it serve. Dear Sir, I have a problem on INtools version 6, when i clicked "Save As" for saving in excel file from Index brower-Print Preview. I got a pop up message said that "Select error:ORA-01007:Variable not in select list" I tried to click OK and OK It seems OK But on excel file some data not correct such as line number that show line ID not line number. If I checked on "Show first column on each page option out. the problem is gone. I don't know it works or not. Please help me to fix it. Thank you Chatree

how to manage rev in index

for one proj v have req of issuing index in excel. so for the same v r exporting index from browser to excel. now question comes whn time will arrive for rev. so v planned to use a udf to put rev. for instans lets assume that whn v issued first time index so in rev udf v will put 0 for all the tags but whn time come for next issue rev col shld be update with 1 insted of 0, but only for those tag nos whr v have some change in any field than last rev. can anyone help how to handle this...
