Hi,

Watcom to Oracle

1.Connect to the oracle database run Admin module (system admin) and Initialize the source watcom database to Oracle.

2. after the process finish open Domain definition and click on the Assciate icon.

3. Asighn users to this domain.

Watcom:

1. Backup your Intools.ini

2. Change the intools.ini section database DBMS= ODBC

3.Open the file from Intools directory c_ver.wat (with notepad)and copy the numbers to c_ver.pbd (if the database and the application in the same version)

4.Run Internal setup --> Setting menu --> Create ODBC profile and follow the wizard.

5. Run Intools

Thanks for the information that you given me. It will be a great help

But how about if the source is Oracle database and the target is also Oracle database.

And if the source is Oracle database and the target is watcom database. Can you provide me a procedure?

So it will an additional knowledge for me.
