Unable to create new unit

Try to create new unit via the domain explorer but failed.

Rebuild Procedures and Triggers, Rebuild Catalog Tables and Rebuild Default Views in Domain are done and retry to create new unit but still failed.

Check the tablespace and found the free space is very low. Increase the particular domain's tablespace for data and index but retry to create new unit but still failed.

So, anyone, have you guys have such experience or can anyone help PLEASE.

Hi,

Try to check the accses right.

When you create a new unit you should add unique unit num if you have already this unit num in your area the system will not create the unit.

After you create the unit  you should refreash the tree

Hi Ilan,

FYI, our domain is operating owner. The entity_id for Plant Heirachy Management (is already set to FULL) for ADMINISTRATOR group. I run select * from engineer_project_privilegy and notice that the proj_id and site_id is not consistence.  I noticed that the as-built proj_id and site_id is not the same as the project's proj_id and site_id. Shouldn't the project's proj_id and site_id be the same as those of the asbuilt ? Please advise.

Just want to share with the above problem which is solved already.

Please try the following:

*         Login as Domain Administrator and open Naming Convention window
*         Select one of the units
*         Select to copy all the conventions from the current <unit>
*         Apply
*         Uncheck the copy all the conventions from the current <unit>
*         Apply.
*         Then try to create a new unit.
