Re: Terminal Server

Please first read the installation guide from SPI documentation, chapter:

Thin Client Operation Using Citrix MetaFrame XP.

(I was personally involved in this document creation).

It is important to copy the Intools.ini and the logo file to the personal user profile folder and rename the original intools.ini in SPI home directory.

The user profile folder on the network should have a unique path for all the users.

I f  you get trouble with the domain explorer  I recommend you search in the documents and setting\<user_name>\

for the explorer.ini file and copy it to the user profile directory as well.

The temporary folder should point to the user profile directory.

Re: Terminal Server

Thanks.

I missed the step of adding the new intools.ini path to the system path variable.

Question on this write up though
This pertains to Citrix connections.  I was told that SPI/INtools has not been certified to work with Remote Desktop / Terminal Server.  Using this procedure, we are working many projects.  I want to know what problems we are causing ourselves by using RDT versus Citrix?

Intools\SPI is certified to work with Citrix\terminal server and you can find  instructions  how to install it in the official SPI documentation.

personally I work with Citrix with several customers more then 4 years.
