hi

 i am mahesh u can go in to the tables  and  when your entyty is locked it will give you one sesson id no

 

go to table then got to entity table and then find tht sessoin id row  delete that row

 

entity lock will be removed

do not acces the one terminal strip by two user at a time

Thanks Mahesh for sharing. Any specific delete statement? I think it would be better for you to include that statement in your reply so we all understand how it can be done in case such locking recur.

What I did, I run the above statement and save it to excel and highlight the user_name that has locked the entity then replace 'sid' and 'serial#' with those values and place in the statement below. There may be many records under the username so repeat the task.

ALTER SYSTEM KILL SESSION 'sid,serial#' IMMEDIATE;
