addting terminal to existing strips
Dear All,

I have around 50 junction boxes already wired.
all of them are having 2 strips each with 40 terminals. now as per new requirment we need to extend these strips to 50 terminals each.
since all of them is completely wired its not advisable to disconn & create new strips, where as another option is doing is manually for every strip.

can someone share some sql to add addtional terminals to these existing strips????

Cheers...
Deepak

Re: addting terminal to existing strips

Hi,

I’m not sure  the strip_id and term_id and term_seq will be the same for each panel and to create sql for 50 panels might take more then to create it through the application.

The short way to do it is to click on the 30tn terminal hold the shift key and click 40th terminal the terminal from 30 – 40 will highlight.

Right click with the mouse and duplicate the terminals.

The first terminal  properties with term num 30 and sequence 41(term 30 ) will pop up and you should change the name to 41 click on next and you

get the next duplicate term do the same till you complete changing all the duplicate terminals and click save.

Regards
